All parties are required to take out cancellation insurance with their booking. Please see prices below

Should you be forced to cancel a holiday, you could lose a lot more than your deposit. You may have to pay the full balance as your booking is a legally binding contract. With this in mind, we've set up a scheme with Rothwell & Towler so that all holidays booked through us are automatically covered.

How you're covered.......
If you have no choice but to cancel your booking, Rothwell & Towler will refund your deposit and pay for your accommodation. What's more, they'll refund any travelling expenses paid for in advance. The insurance covers cancellation or curtailment of your holiday due to;
1) Death, injury/illness or redundancy
2) Cancellation of armed forces leave
3) Summons for jury service or as a court witness
4) Your home becoming uninhabitable
5) You being required to assist in police enquiries
Close relatives who are not travelling, are also protected if you cancel your holiday due to their death, suffering severe accidental injury or a serious illness. You'll also be safeguarded against public transport delays of 12 hours or more due to strike/industrial dispute, weather conditions or mechanical breakdown.

You'll also get Visitorcare free..
Visitorcare gives you additional reassurance free of charge. Combining insurance, practical help and advice as well as financial compensation, we want to be sure you're fully covered so you can relax and simply enjoy your holiday. Benefits include:
o Unexpected travelling and accommodation expenses
o Pollution of beaches £10.00 per day
o Motor breakdown benefit £20.00 per day
o Holiday accommodation becoming uninhabitable

What's not covered;
Your holiday cancellation insurance excludes claims if they arise directly or indirectly from:
(a) You/member of your party suffering from any condition that has required medical treatment as a hospital in-patient, during the twelve months before the commencement of insurance. Or where you/member of your party is on a hospital waiting list for in-patient treatment.
(b) Holiday arrangements made or undertaken:
i) against the advice of a doctor
ii) for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment
iii) where a terminal prognosis has been given
iv) if at the time of booking your holiday and commencing your insurance, you/member of your party are aware of any circumstancesregarding your/their health, or the health of any person upon which your holiday plans depend and could give rise to a claim, unless Rothwell & Towler have been informed and have given their written consent to cover.
(c) Psychological or psychiatric disorders, insanity, anxiety, stress or depression.
(d) A member of your party's intentional self-injury, suicide or attempted suicide.
(e) If your claim is caused by a person who is aged over 65, a £30 policy excess will apply.
(f) If you or any member of your party is aged over 80, the cancellation cover will commence six months before your holiday.

Important. What else you should know...
Failure to tell Rothwell & Towler any facts that could be significant to their risk assessment, may lead to your insurance being void. If you are in any doubt, please give Rothwell & Towler a call on 01404 41234.

You're covered as soon as we've received your premium. Your Certificate of Insurance will show only your name as the principal insured, but will cover everyone in your party for whom the premium has been paid.

This is only a summary of the insurance. Your Certificate of Insurance will have full details of the policy terms, conditions and exclusions. A copy is available from Rothwell & Towler on request.

This insurance is arranged by Rothwell & Towler, an independent intermediary, and underwritten by Professional Travel Insurance Company Limited, who are members of the Association of British Insurers and the Insurance Ombudsman Bureau.
