Chef Al Toomey began his career as a chef training under Italian Born Romeo Rigo in his flagship restaurant in Airlie Beach, Australia. He later worked in Bordeaux & Croatia, before settling in the U.K with his English wife and family where he has provided quality dining in a variety of eateries..

Al is now pleased to offer his personally designed menus for guests of Heywood holiday cottages and will come to the cottage to prepare and serve your meal. All menus are produced where possible with locally sourced organic produce.

Your meal will be prepared in the kitchen, the table set and dinner served. Cleaning and washing up will be done whilst you are dining and the catering team will leave after serving dessert...

There is currently a choice between Traditional, Mexican and Indain menus, with 2 more menus in the pipeline!

Important Note: The kitchen and dining room must be left clear and clean before the catering team arrives. They will need worktops clear, all pots, pans and cutlery clean and put away and the dishwasher emptied. Thank you for your co-operation!
