A traditional English pub with a warm friendly atmosphere, fine real ales and great value food. Outside play area, log fire, quiz nights. New owners John and Mich look forward to welcoming guests of Ashe Cottage.
From Ashe Cottage it is about a mile by road, but a lovely short walk across the fields. Turn left out of the house, over bridge, left into Norleaze, right into footpath after 50m, cross field, over style, right, left and you're there!

The Hungry Horse, Yarnbrook. 1 mile A modern style chain pub, but with good food in large quantities! Great "big plate" steaks. Outside children's play area. Sky TV with important sporting events covered. Turn right out of house, left at church, about half a mile (not a very pleasant walk though) Tel: 01225 753569

Long's Arms, Steeple Ashton. 3 miles Very old pub with real ales and a small but excellent restaurant with a french theme. Left at church, right at roundabout, right at lights, left signposted Steeple Ashton. Tel: 01380 870245

Angel Inn, Upton Scudamore. 4 miles. More restaurant than pub, but very good food, if a little pricey. Right at church, through Westbury towards Warminster, look for signpost on left. Tel: 01985 213225

Kicking Donkey, Southwick. 4 miles. Nice country pub with bar and restaurant and gardens. Left at church, over 2 roundabouts, left next roundabout (Rising Sun) after 3/4 mile turn left on very sharp right bend signed Brokerswood, about 2 miles on right.Tel: 01373 823250

Full Moon, Rudge. 5 miles. Nice country pub with bar and large attached restaurant and gardens. Follow as for Kicking Donkey and continue 1 mile.Tel: 01373 830936
