The vegetarian main course may be chosen as an alternative in any menu.

Menu A

Appetisers

Pate and toast with small salad

Sweet potato and thyme soup

Good old fashioned Prawn Cocktail served on crispy lettuce!


Main Courses

Chicken Bhuna with basmati rice and naan bread (mild to medium curry)

Coq au vin; Chicken casseroled in red wine with root vegetables


Dessert

Home made lemon honey and cinnamon pie

Sweet Griddle Cakes, Chocolate Sauce, Maple Syrup and Cornish clotted cream.

Menu B

Appetisers


Greek salad of Feta cheese, Kalamata olives with yoghurt, mint and cucumber dressing

Mouclade; curried Mussel soup with a hint of Saffron

Any appetiser from Menu A


Main Courses

Smoked Haddock on a bed of crushed potatoes with creamed spinach and wholegrain mustard sauce

Chicken Parmiagana; Butterflied breast of free range chicken, lightly crumbed, topped with tomato and herb ragu and grilled Mozzarella


Desserts

Cinder toffee chocolate mousse (honeycomb)

Home made tarte au chocolat with Cornish clotted cream

Menu C

Appetisers

Tomato and Mozzarella risotto with fresh Basil and parmesan Smoked west country Dartmouth Salmon with lemon and dill mayonnaise

Salad of grilled king prawns wrapped in Parma ham with rocket and parmesan

Taste of the west country…Apple Somerset brie crocquettes with leek and red onion marmalade

Any Appetiser from A or B


Main Courses

Supreme breast of free range chicken , stuffed with cream cheese and fresh herbs, with a pink peppercorn sauce and hint of brandy

Tenderloin of pork wrapped in Parma ham pan fried then roasted on rosemary and thyme mash, with Dijon mustard sauce and Cornichon salsa

Marinated fillet of beef, pan seared then roasted with Colcannan mash & mushroom demi-glace

Local organically reared roast shoulder of pork with roast potatoes & green beans, Apricot and pine nut stuffing, and home made apple sauce


Desserts

Chocolate, caramel and marshmallow crepes with vanilla pod ice cream

Chocolate brownie and ice cream sandwich, with chocolate caramel and Baileys sauce

Home made shortbread with Mascarpone cream and sour cherries

Luxury cheese board: A selection of west country cheeses, locally sourced pickles and chutney with fresh fruit, crusty bread, crackers and a taster of local farmhouse cider.
